Cornudella de Montsant-La Morera de Montsant-Escaladei-Vilella A i B-Gratallops-El Lloar-El Molar-La Figuera-La Bisbal de Falset-Margalef-Vilanova de Prades-Prades-La Febro-Castilljos-Panta de Siurana-Cornudella de Montsant
A beautiful day with an excellent and superb landscape through the Montsant and the Prades mountains with awsome small villages. Amazingly quite roads (the track was made on Saturday morning) and during the first 70 km I count less than 10 cars on the road! (maybe because of the end of mushroom "hunting" season). A bit more crowded traffic (motorbikes for instance) was found around Prades and on the C-252 road. If you try this track on winter time, be carefull with the ice plaques in the shadowed parts of the road. I am looking forward to repeat this track in spring-summer time... if I am still fit! There are three parts I found particularlly demanding, the way up to reach La Figuera, the first part of the road between Vilanova de Prades and Prades and from La Febro and the cross to take the TV7092. There is the option to go to the Siurana water reservoir from Arboli instead of taking the C-252 but I was not sure if after Arboli the road is paved.
