臺東山海鐵馬道
This bicycle trail is totally broken from the official information website.
ONLY worth to do the western section, starting in the Taitung old train station, going upwards following the old train tracks until the path is cut by the river. Then go back.
The trail was broken in several sections (impossible to follow):
1) In the northwestern, there should be a bridge crossing the river but it doesn't exists anymore.
2) The northeastern section is closed.
3) The southeastern part follows one lake, from there it should be possible to enter one big park but again, doors are closed.
Highlights:
- Follow old Taitung train tracks.
- Taitung White House.
