Itinerary description

Right on the edge of the lovely Blessingbourne Estate there is a very beautiful trail park with red and blue runs for mountain bike riders, designed by a special architrail, so it has loads of challenging features. The heavy rain that has fallen recently has also left the rocks and wooden bridges on the trails very slippery indeed, so watch out they can be lethal! We came off our bikes a couple of times but luckily had soft landings! You can park in the carpark for 5 pounds and this entitles you to use the bike park as long as you like. There is a small camping park near the lake nearby. You can also ask to park in the grounds of the Estate but no facilities of course. The lord of the manor was very helpful and welcoming and gave us lots of info before we started off.
