Itinerary description

We followed the road from Dugort beach around Slievemore mountain, stopped for a quick coffee at the cosy Magic kitesurf place (no sheep allowed!) and continued on to the cemetery on the right where we joined a dirt road that skirts the abandoned houses, it turns into track in places, we followed it down to Dooagh village on the south coast, then turned right steep uphill (thank heaven for e-bikes) and followed the winding path to a beautiful lake and Accorrymore dam. Great views up there of Keel and the cliffs . We started back and got sidetracked down a challenging boggy and rocky path but then turned back and made our way back on the road to Dugort beach. We were lucky to have one of the very few dry days in July !
