Itinerary description
OK, this trail did not work out too well, so not worth following! The plan was to follow a mix of VTT trails along the river and join up with trail 38. However, the GPX download did not match very well with the route markers. I persevered and followed the route markers for 38, which was graded as a red. The first descent is steep with sharp switchbacks, which were OK but then a pretty risky open corner on the edge of a drop (not ideal). Lots of road and doubletrack up to Orciers Merlette then back onto nice Singletrack but very busy with many walkers, so I decided to retrace my steps following the blue trail back down. All on gravel doubletrack and tarmac so basically an easy green graded trail. I probably missed the best descent of the day!
