Lanzarote - Faro Pechiguera y Paseo Playa Blanca

We start the circuit in the direction of Montaña Roja Volcano.
We will go over the village of Playa Blanca, where we will be able to observe the characteristic construction of the Canary Islands, the white in contrast with the green of the palm trees and the blue of the sea in the horizon.
We will reach the foot of Montaña Colorada, the southernmost volcano of the island.
Its reddish colour is due to the metal oxide contained in the earth, it is 165 metres high and its crater has a depth of 50 metres.
We continue towards the south-western tip of Lanzarote, and we will come across the Pechiguera lighthouse, built to guide ships entering the Bocaína Strait, between Lanzarote and Fuerteventura.
From this point and for approximately 9 kilometres we will walk along the beautiful promenade of Playa Blanca.
The sea will accompany us all the way, palm trees, restaurants, bars and hotels will mark our way.
The boats and sailboats on the sea, the aroma of the seafood in the restaurants will give us the idea of a typical fishing village.
We will arrive at the office of Lanzarote Adventure to finish the trip.

Comenzamos el circuito dirección Volcán Montaña Roja.
Iremos por encima del Pueblo de Playa Blanca, donde podremos observar la característica construcción de las Islas Canarias, el blanco en contraste con el verde de las palmeras y el azul del mar en el horizonte.
Vamos a llegar al pie de Montaña Colorada, el volcán más al sur de la isla.
Su color rojizo se debe al óxido del metal que contiene la tierra, de unos 165 metros de altura, su cráter tiene una profundidad de 50 metros.
Seguimos camino hacía la punta suoroeste de Lanzarote, y nos encontraremos con el Faro Pechiguera, construido a fin de guiar los barcos que entran en el Estrecho de la Bocaína, entre Lanzarote y Fuerteventura.
A partir de éste punto y aproximadamente por 9 kilometros vamos a recorrer el bello Paseo de Playa Blanca.
El mar nos va a acompañar en todo el trayecto, las palmeras, restaurantes, bares y hoteles nos van a ir marcando nuestro camino.
Los barcos y veleros sobre el mar, el aroma de los mariscos de los restaurantes nos van a dar la idea de un típico pueblo pesquero.
Llegaremos a la oficina de Lanzarote Adventure para finalizar la travesía.

Iniziamo il circuito in direzione del Vulcano Montaña Roja.
Supereremo il villaggio di Playa Blanca, dove potremo osservare la costruzione caratteristica delle isole Canarie, il bianco in contrasto con il verde delle palme e l'azzurro del mare all'orizzonte.
Arriveremo ai piedi della Montaña Colorada, il vulcano più meridionale dell'isola.
Il suo colore rossastro è dovuto all'ossido di metallo contenuto nella terra, è alto 165 metri e il suo cratere ha una profondità di 50 metri.
Continuiamo verso la punta sud-occidentale di Lanzarote e ci imbattiamo nel faro di Pechiguera, costruito per guidare le navi che entrano nello stretto di Bocaína, tra Lanzarote e Fuerteventura.
Da questo punto e per circa 9 chilometri cammineremo lungo il bellissimo lungomare di Playa Blanca.
Il mare ci accompagnerà per tutto il tragitto, palme, ristoranti, bar e hotel segneranno il nostro cammino.
Le barche e i velieri sul mare, l'aroma dei frutti di mare nei ristoranti ci daranno l'idea di un tipico villaggio di pescatori.
Arriveremo all'ufficio di Lanzarote Adventure per finire il viaggio.
