Plane from Lukla (Tenzing-Hillary Airport) to Kathmandu (International Airport) - Post-Trekking 3 steps Everest
December 3, 2019.
Return by plane from Lukla to Kathmandu.
The day came back to civilization and the bustle of a city like Kathmandu.
The weather forecast was good and this is important to leave Lukla by plane.
We had breakfast and went directly to the airport.
To pass passenger control, we had to wait a long time for them to dispatch us. A little out of control.
Then they took us to the waiting room where there were quite a few people.
The wait was a bit heavy for us due to the lack of information. In these cases it is best to take it very calmly. We waited 2 hours until they finally told us that our plane was ready on the runway.
We went out onto the track and got on the plane with capacity for 16 passengers and the stewardess. The poor girl could hardly go down the center aisle to give us some candy. The truth is that being a hostess in this line, has to have a plus of danger.
When the plane is placed close to the wall, and the engines begin to roar, it is impressive.
In order for the planes to take off, they have to go at full throttle from the same wall, due to the lack of oxygen entering the engines as they are at 2,860 m high.
The track is 450 meters long, sloping, with a cliff at the other end.
Until we gain height and pass the mountains, we do not remain calm.
Goodbye to the Himalayas.
It has been an unforgettable trip.
When we arrived in Kathmandu they took us to the hotel that is located in the very center of the city, in the Thamel neighborhood. It is where all tourists stay, especially mountaineers.
There are almost all the restaurants and mountain shops in the city.
When we arrived at the hotel, they placed us some nice scarves, and they gave us some diplomas that certified the route we had made.
The truth was that it was very funny.
After lunch and visit the city.
In Kathmandu we spent 4 days getting to know this beautiful city.
If I have time, maybe I'll upload a short summary of our visit later to serve as a guide if you ever decide to go.

Impresionante!!!!!!! enhorabuena por la experiencia.
Gracias por compartir.
Gracias a ti.
Buen reportaje y buena grafica...Que envidia !!!
Hola,
