Itinerary description
There is a new format Poc Fada competition being run this year. A valuable prize is now available for the winner of the Senior Provincial competition. A county final medal will be presented to the U16 and Senior County Final winner. The Galtee Mountains are the proposed site for the County Finals of the U16 and Senior competition in Tipperary. This venue will also be the site for the Provincial Finals. The date for the County Finals is Saturday June 8. Three entrants are permitted from each division in both the U16 and Senior competition. Entrants are asked to bring a marker and a flag man with them on the day. Markers and flag men will be requested to act for competitors from other divisions. Senior and Juvenile Divisional Boards will select the competitors from their divisions via local competitions if necessary. The site has been chosen and we would like to thank Pat Moroney of the Aherlow club, the local farming community and Coillte for their assistance.
