Itinerary description
An overview route in some of the remarkable places within Pyŕatynśký National Park:
- start at railway station Hrebinka - a direct suburb train from Kýiv. The road to Pyŕatyn is new and very good, although within Hrebinka itself it is very poor;
- an island Masalśký in Pyŕatyn with its well-kept forest, beaches and playgrounds;
- a wild forest near the village Zamostyšče: quite a comfortable track, leading to a long wooden bridge towards the village Kaplynci, and then along the picturesque higher bank of the Udaj;
- well-beaten dirt roads through the fields to the village Berezova Rudka, offering several places of interest, including a park which now looks more like a wild grove;
- from there, a 50 km ride to Jahotyn railway station.
