Itinerary description
From Almócita to Beires, Ohanes, Canjáyar and Padules.
Easy bike trip what is also doable on a normal or racebike if you don’t mind to climb a little. As we start from the campsite soon you will see an observation platform where you see the whole valley and Almócita. We now head for Almócita itself a lovely small village with very nice murals.
After crossing the mainroad we go to Beires via a pretty steep climb, here you also have a nice view on the valley from the church grounds.
As soon as we leave Beires we spotted the first mountain goats and as we climb and climb the views are getting better and better.
Now we see the village of Ohanes glued to the mountains. Every road (except the mainroad) goes steep up or down. From the mirador outside the village you can see on what steep mountain this village has been build.
Now we ride further down to the most spectacular part of the trip.. you can constantly see the road down as it curls like a snake below us. After reaching Canjáyar we decided to take the route into the rambla.. but this was halfway just almost impossible by bike, so we advise you to skip this part and head back to the mainroad
