Itinerary description
From Châtillon-sous-les-Côtes to Verdun and Ossuarium van Douaumont.
We start from our campsite on some gravel and asphalt roads towards Moulainville. From here it’s a steep climb where we take a left into the forrest. This is mainly downhill to Belrupt-en-Verdunois. Here we cross a busy road a follow our trip on a gravelroad to Verdun.
In Verdun, we take a look at the citadel, church and the Victory monument. Along the river Meuse we go uphill again towards the Ossuarium van Douaumont, a very impressive site. On our way back we visit some other monuments and strongholds.
