Itinerary description

From From El Mojón to Ciudad Encantada de Bolnuevo and Minas de mazarrón.

Start early.. because you can wander around the mines for hours, it’s a very big site.

We start from the campsite Las Torres heading south to the beaches and boulevards. After Playa del Puerto we climb to Balcon de la Reflexión via a gravelroad, where you have some great views over the mediterranean sea and the shorelines. Downwards we go by foot, it’s really pretty steep but the views are stunning!

Along the shorelines and boulevards we head to Ciudad Encantada de Bolnuevo.. after this we head inland to Mazarrón and the mines. At the time we were there it has been raining for a day or so, it was very muddy.. but normally it’s very doable on a bike.

We choose to take the ‘easy’ way back by the main road.
