Itinerary description
From Lac d’Hossegor to Capbreton and Plage de Messanges. We start at the camperspot in Soorts-Hossegor, a nice well-equipped camperspot in a forrest-like atmosphere.
We head to the shores of Lac d’Hossegor, from there we take the path to Capbreton. First we go to the harbor and the pier ‘L'Estacade de Capbreton’.. taking almost the same route back we can see the pier also from the southshore.
Now we go further north along the beaches towards Plage de Messanges. Riding more inland’s now we pass a few gravel roads and ending upon the other side of Lac d’Hossegor.. forbidden for bikes on this end we hardly see the lake but you can park you bike and walk around a bit.
Taking the Pont Notre-Dame via Soorts-Hossegor downtown we head back to the camperspot.
