Chelmsford - Charles Dickens thought it was the most boring town in England. My parents were born and lived here, so I seem to have arrived at a poignant junction of my journey, bike and life!

Oasis
Superb stop for coffee and breakfast. After a barren day of little human contact yesterday despite cycling through London, humanity thrives on this cycleway. A cafe of dogs eating ice-cream and chatter of adultery and flattering dresses.
