Itinerary description
Starting and finishing near Whitefield tram station this route goes via Heywood and eventually reaches Rochdale Canal. You follow this to Sowerby Bridge. I stopped in Hebden Bridge (just before SB) for lunch where there are an abundance of cafés to choose from.
Leaving the canal path you then take the road and begin to climb passing through Ripponden & Rishworth. You go over Saddleworth Moor and pass through Denshaw and then Oldham. Returning to Whitefield via Middleton. All in all a lovely route.
