Itinerary description
Loop trail from Utrera passing through:
- Fuente la higuera (9.7 km)
- Viaducto Zaframagón (56.2 km)
- Castillo de El Coronil (92.8 km)
A scenic and fun route starting from and ending at Utrera train station.
OUT, including a section of Via Verde: 68kms and RETURN: 46kms.
A mix of terrain and surfaces: country & small town roads (minimal traffic), gravel tracks, dirt tracks and along the edge of farmland. A few sandy sections (around 2kms), more suited to mountain bikes (my gravel tyres more suited to road so not ideal and walking required)
NOT RECOMMENDED for wet conditions. (leave at least a few days after last rainfall)
Took different routes in the towns, to see more but connecting up ok. Scenery gets better the closer you get to Coripe - best part near Montellano, with undulating country roads and great views.

Beware of flooding damage to road surface or loose gravel on some descents.
Done over 28hrs (including train from SEVILLA and spending overnight in CORIPE - at Pension Coripe - much recommended), but possible to do in a day for the hardy!
