Itinerary description

We start the route from the Mirador del Angliru hostel parking. We take the concrete path up and right. After about 800m, we take a path to the right that goes slightly downwards.
This confortable path will take us straightly towards the end of the route, allowing us to enjoy the Sierra del Aramo views to our right. To our left, the Mt. Lisorio and Riosa’s council lands are at our sight.
The route will take us to Curuxeo, also known as “La aldea soñada” (the dreamt village) because of the rural hostel of the same name
This short and easy return trip is a quiet one and allows beautiful views of Riosa. It is suitable for children and can be enjoyed by walking, cycling or riding horses. Once reached the end of the route, we could turn back to Mirador del Angliru hostel or we could keep going by road (RI-3) till Doña Juandi town and, from there, go back to Mirador del Angliru hostel, also by road (RI-2). The length of this last stretch is about 7 km and it makes this route a 14 km circular one, instead of a return route.
