Itinerary description

A 3-day hiking trip first week November, going through the highest parts of Oz.

Key points:
- plenty of parking at Charlotte Pass. Park entry and booking is required (can be bought on the way in)
- some flies, but nothing too concerning
- be ready for snow crossings
- plenty melted snow water, filter did not seem to be necessary
- it gets to around 0 Celsius at night, get some warm clothing
- about 70% of the route is off-trail - the terrain is quite accessible, but can get quite wet in rain. Be ready to scramble a bit and be careful on steep snow slopes.
- reception is available most of the time.

Camping at:
- Mueller's Pass - descend 500 meters down west to the valley for water and wind protection
- just before Rams Head North
