Itinerary description
The village of Au is only reachable by boat or by foot. You can park your car in Murg (either West or East) and take the boat to Au (20 minutes). Make the walk to Walenstadt (with rather steep climbs which were no problems for young kids, but might be a problem if you don't have a good condition). From Walenstadt you can take the boot back to Murg (30 minutes). Be aware of the schedule: www.walenseeschiff.ch (we had to take the train because in Spring the boat doesn't go on Wednesdays.)
