Comment : DO NOT GO THERE VERY DANGEROUS !!! please go back and read my hike 106 report 1st, you will also want to watch the 360° video 106 1/4 that show the 1st part of the ascent under les Aiguilles de Baulmes until the place that looked too dangerous to attempt, videos 111 show the reste of the way or more accurately as far as I'm ever going to go (and never will again)
Mystery solved...this "trail" isn't one..it's an approach path for rope or free solo ? climbers, it's not for hikers !!! When I read the paper in the tin box explaining climbing routes I realized I was out of my league there...you don't see it in videos but there was an already installed vertical rope going down (or up) at the end of a thin trail next to the cliff wall wherever it went this was way out of my current fitness or skills, I should never have went there. The danger comes mostly from the angled dirt slope segment which I hike 106 I turned away from and I was smarter then because it was extremely sketchy watch 360 videos and check my feet or poles, the ground asked nothing more than to slide down, very dangerous...more than most T4 I have done this far. I'm never going to see the rest of the way I'm too old and broken to do real climbing. I hope this will prevent other curious hikers to attempt this, way too dangerous to turn back at the end. Leave this to serious climbers.
I finally managed to reach la Cave Noire (after the dangerous ledge it seemed very easy) yay not a waster day in the end.
On the vertical picture if you zoom in I highlighted the rope, the red line is true to size of the rope, understand it's not a tiny fishing line it's a climbing rope a very long one if you ask me that meant a very long drop down after the crest if that's where it went (down or up don't know) I honestly have not given up but I'm never going back that way, I will probably attempt to reach the other side from the forest south-east if it's too steep that'll be that.
