Itinerary description
Circular Walk with possible diversions to Isberts Folly & Cova Santa. Can be difficult to do this walk after heavy rain as the Barranco de Infierno will contain to much water to follow the track. However, the waterfall below Font Grossa is spectacular after rain.

29-10-12 Did this walk today and the track from the riverbed up to where it joins the PR-V147 is temporarily closed to walkers. The closed sign was only at the top so we didn't see it until the end!! The track is becoming very eroded and overgrown and no doubt they intend to do some work on it and in the meantime don't want it to become even worse.
I should have read this comment before a walked this route today, 28th October 2020. Eight years on and the track up from the river to the PR-V147 is now very indistinct, eroded and overgrown in places. I had a GPS and this certainly helped be to keep on the route. I would describe this part of the route as quite challenging. If only from the point of view of route finding. Not a route I would repeat.
The walk was excellent as was the scenery. However the accent from the gully back up to Benimaurell was poorly marked and very difficult to climb, the path was very narrow, slippy, with overgrown bushes. I would avoid the accent.
On our original my original review of this walk in 2012 I did comment on the state of the track out of the ravine.
In Ocgtober 2020 kevinmac walked the route and commented that the track was in poor condition and would not have taken this route if he had my original words.
Prior to us embarking on this walk a woman had fell to her death because of the poor track, although we did not know this until subsequently. There were plans for repairs to be carried out on the track but despite the passing years it would appear little or nothing has been done. Therefore I consider this track to be dangerous.

I should have read the reviews before doing the walk my error. I agree with Vallesa the route from the riverbed towards Benimaurell is very difficult if not dangerous. Not recommended. Go back the way you start the walk.
