Hace casi 30 años que Julio Llamazares peregrino hasta el Puerto de Vegarada recorriendo aguas arriba el río Curueño, este viaje dio como resultado el libro "El río del Olvido". Despues de todo este tiempo el río y su comarca siguen cautivando a sus viajeros.
