Itinerary description
The first part of this hike is along a tar road, before turning off onto an old dirt road that passes through an area of stunning volcanic scenery. A path leads to the summit of Montaña Limon, from which I went cross-country to rejoin the track which follows the side of a striking purple-sided gully before moving into the forest and continuing down to La Caldera.
