Itinerary description
Start from the road below the rock climbs following an easy path around to the left and up to the second tier of rock climbs and a cave. The path then continues, more or less marked by sporadic cairns, through low rocky scrub. Just before reaching the ridge there is a flattish area below a low cliff/boulder with a large white paint splash on it, a great picnic spot.
We continued up and right, and recommend getting onto the lovely limestone ridge as soon as you can. If you go lower, as we did on the ascent, you encounter harder scrambling, whilst the ridge is delightful, if you don't mind the exposure. Follow the ridge to the fence line, go over the fence and continue easy scrambling up to the summit. (It looks worse than it is in parts). Great views and numerous vultures all the way. Return the same way, although the cairns are difficult to spot once you've left the ridge, and we went a bit far to our right and had to veer left to avoid the top of the climbing cliff.

Me gusta mucho esta montaña, pero he nunca alcanzado la cima. Quizás la próxima vez! https://es.wikiloc.com/rutas-senderismo/2016-11-03-pena-negra-15472606/photo-9629470
