Itinerary description
d1: Lillaz - biv Borroz, fresh snow the night before, some snow from 2600m, good cabin
d2: biv Borroz - rif Miserin, cold late afternoon
d3: rif Miserin - biv Pochiola-Meneghello, freezing morning. Steep col valletta o finestra both sides, big rocks after biv Revelli and no signs from there. Very difficult colle di Motta without crampons
d4: biv Pochiola - biv Ivrea, fog and fresh snow. Difficult with snow on big rocks at colle Becchi
d5: biv Ivrea - rif Chivasso, good weather, no problems. Beautiful views!! Stambocca's!!
d6: rif Chivasso - rif Tetras Lyre, good weather, no problems, good and cheap cabin
d7: rif T Lyre - biv @ rif Vittoria Sella, good weather, 200m difficult descending after Grand Neyron (cables), after that rocks
d8: biv @ rif V Sella - Lillaz
very nice tour, some long stages. Some days with lots of big rock-kilometers. The fresh snow made it more difficult, certainly in the southwestern part which is not a well-marked path. Certainly not recommended for solo-hikers in these conditions for safetyreasons.

Could you put up your tent at the refugios?
we only slept 4 nights in or nearby refugio. We never saw tents at the refugio or a place that is mentioned for camping. So I can't really say if they allow to camp nearby...
Tetras Lyre was in the valley, a few km further is a camping place.
