Itinerary description
A longish but straightforward loop from Aracena visiting the villages of Los Marines and Linares de la Sierra. The walk passes through rural countryside where sheep, goats and pigs are seen. Crops include grapes, apples, pears, citrus, acorns, cork, olives and huge orchards of chestnuts. It's largely on quiet rural roads and farm tracks, with a few foot tracks, and it's mostly good underfoot. There is some signage, but not enough to do it without a map. The villages are delightful, with their cobbled streets and whitewashed buildings.
