Itinerary description
We started this walk from the public parking place of Maro and descended to the beach of Maro.
At the end of the beach there should have been a track going up but is was not really possible anymore to take this because of erosion.
So we went up again the same way we came and took another track from the second bend in the road that would lead us to the track we had planned to do.
Due to a big fire on the coast here in november 2021 a great part of the landscape is scarred and burnt and black. The views along the coast are very nice all the same and there are also stretches in wHich there is no damage at all.
When the track narrows you will walk along an acequia that will take you to a broad track that you will follow for about 200 metres and then take a steep track up to the tower.
From the Torre de Maro you will have a fantastic view all around.
From the tower a pleasant track with great views will take you to the N-340 which will take you back to the parking place.

Agréable petite boucle malheureusement partiellement ravagée par l'incendie de novembre 2021. Pas de difficulté particulière et le circuit est bien décrit.
