Itinerary description
The Cueva de Nerja - Almijara Trail starts at the free parking space adjacent to the caves of Nerja..
It is a pleasant walk that goes into the Sierra de Tejeda y Almijara and allows you to get to know the mountain in which the caves are situated, giving you a very nice view on the coast and the lower mountains of the Sierra de Tejeda y Almijara.T
Thanks to the information panels you know your position in relation to the caves.
This short route is a simple, circular route that can be done in less than two hours, but even so manages to give you a real hiking experience thanks to the very nice track.
The Mirador is more or less half way and is a perfect place to sit down and enjoy the views for a while.
Moreover, there are two more comfortable benches alongside the track.
