Itinerary description
tour 7.5d in Ubaye -Mercantour -Val Maira
Due to gps-problems (apparatus did a hard reset automatically), I don't have the track of what we really walked but it should be about this...
Good weather conditions, only clouds /thunderstorm predicted when we walked direction mont Tenibre. So we skipped this one. We also skipped pas du roi close to Les Pras, shop was closed and we didn't have dinner anymore. And the gite was fully booked. So we went around the mountain to La Condamine-Chatelard.
Difficult walking around col de Pal /Baisse de Barel and afterwards because of erosion. Difficult but not really dangerous.
To win some time we took a (free) lift down to St-Etienne de Tinée.
At some points there is no path marked, also no cairns. But mostly it's not difficult.
Most steep parts were down Cime de Pal (path not clear here) and down Veraysses.
