Itinerary description
a mix of Forststeig and Malerweg in the Elbsandsteingebirge, Sachsische Schweiz.
6.5 day of which 1 on camping, 1 on bivac, 1 in bivac cabin, 1 in hotel and 2 in bunkhouse.
a lot of variants, certainly at the rocks on both paths. Sometimes difficult with large backpack.
GPS does not work good in the rock area's, so tracks might not be very accurate there. At some parts, you may not turn the track counterwise!
At some points, the track I made was not the main Forststeig anymore, but an older one, which has been changed during the years.
a lot of fallen trees, certainly around Malerweg, because of some bad insects. Therefore we had to change our path on several parts between Neumann mühle and Schmilka.
