Itinerary description
My students wanted to go hiking and had to oblige them. Most are city dwellers and never been on a hike before. An easy hike (mostly flat) with beautiful scenery took us to Batroun and the Msaylha trail.
The trail connects the Msaylha fortress with the Nahr El Jawz (walnut river). It was two days after torrential rain and the Msaylha dam was full with muddy waters which is beautiful nonetheless.
I think my students had a fun day.
