From Patrick Elvin's "40 half day walks in the Serrania de Ronda and Jimena area" - but starting at Venta Valdivia, instead of starting at Siete Pilas school.

Directly opposite the Venta take a narrow path downhill to a lane. Turn right.

Straight on at 'crossroads' junction
At this grassy junction go straight on - at first it doesn't look like a track, but it soon becomes more distinct.

The main track curves around to the right, but take the little left hand option by some buildings.

At a 'trio' of paths take the left hand little path
The main track goes straight on, and there is a little path on both the left hand side and the right hand side. Take the left option.

Leave the main track at this large house on right 'Fuente de la Pasa'
Take the grassy track to the left of the house; there's a red/white GR 141 marker post.
