Itinerary description

English (castellano debajo):

This route is the 7 summit tour but instead of using the cable car for one portion, finishing the loop by walk.
Tannenbodenalp - Rotberg - Winkelzan - Seebenalp - Heusee - Gross Güslen - Chli Güslen -
Chrüzen - Hoch Camatsch - Sächserseeli - Ziger - Maschgenkamm - Tannenbodenalp

We started from Tannenbodenalp where there is a big parking next to the cable car. In case you want to check the prices to go up - https://www.flumserberg.ch/Summer/Bergbahnen/Prices/Prices-mountain-railway. We decided; however; to walk all the way up.
It starts with a nice path where you don't really feel it's going up. You have very nice views all along the way. This way is shared by animals, bikes and families as it is not particularly difficult.

Once you arrive to the lake you can keep going up where the path drastically changes. Even though everything is still gree the path is narrow and a bit more mountain trail. Up the top there is a sign which warns you that there is a view point to the right. It actually doesn't inform how long it will take, but it will be few minutes going up; and it is worth it.

When returning back to the track you will keep on going up until you reach the UNESCO world heritage. Before this point you will see quite lot of people (a bit less after the lake) but once you enter this zone you will see almost nobody else. You will go around a mountain where the path will be more rocky and keeping the peak in the left hand side. There are some places where the path is not clearly signposted; specially around the shelter area.
Once we thought we were doing the latest ascend of the day we realized that there was still another one left, making after all, almost 1200 m of ascension.

Once you are at the top there are a couple of choices; go via Leist or not. The difference will be around 30 minutes. We decided not to do it based on the time we had and started the descend. In the way we found small lakes of different colors as you can see in the pictures.
Once in Maschgenkamm we thought of taking the cable car down; however, it was not operating due to some works. Also, if you want to use keep in mind the time as the last one will run no more than 16:30.

The last portion is back on a wide road which can be slippery some times.

*Don't forget good mountain boots as some parts will be muddy, some others slippery, other rocky,...
There are few places were you can get water along the way, but you may run out of it soon in a sunny day, so bring enough.

Castellano:
