Itinerary description
A 26km hike with 2000m of climbing in it. But it's worth it. You'll walk on bare hilltops, wander in the dense forests, walk between cows in mountain grasslands and see some spectacular sights of the area.
The start is on the 'Col de la vierge'. A very quiet and cozy col with a nice pick nick place.
If you go during early spring you will even have to pass a few snowfields (nothing dangerous, just bring good shoes).
There is no 'ferme-auberge' of 'refuge' on this track. but you can get to a few with a from kilometers extra if you insist.
There are two geocaches on this track :-)
It's an ideal walk to do with you dog (as you can see on some pictures). You'll cross very few roads and even those have limited traffic on them.
