Itinerary description

We start this walk by catching the cable car up from Fuente de. From here the hike is fairly flat for the first half and then a winding climb for the final section up to Refuge. (Which looks like a Lunar Module but is in fact an old Amercian Warship gun turret) from April to October a man lives there and he will sell you a beer, cooled by snow. This was a great experience to see the refuge and the 360 panoramic views. There were wild horses in the lower sections which were magnificent and majestic. This route ends when we return to the cable car but we actually walked down. This is recorded on another of my Wikiloc trails.
