Itinerary description

This route is from and to Ribes de Freser Renfe station on the R3 Rodalies line.

The route goes up to the Taga summit at 2039m ASL and involves about 3 to 4 hours of uphill walking so an medium to high level of fitness is required.

Once at the Taga summit there are amazing 360º views of the pyrenees mountains.

Not that the lower slopes are full fo grazing cattle so do not wear red clothes as they may chase you through the fields.

Allow 7-9 hours to complete the route.

Easy to follow because of the yellow marks on most of the trail. Becarful on the way down as the steepness is stronger.

Take a lot of waters (3L) if it is a sunny summer day. Overall if it is slightly windy, being under the sun is fine, but going up take a toll.
