Itinerary description
This walk starts near Abbaye d'Aulne and follows for some time the Sambre river, then passes through the woods to arrive to a beautiful viewpoint of Thuin, a perfect picnic spot.
On the way back, it leads through the fields to Château d'Hourpes, then through the woods again, leading back to Abbaye d'Aulne.
We enjoyed the diversity of the path, the meandering river which we followed for a while, the climbs and descents through the forest and the views of rural areas.
