Itinerary description
A really nice hike along the shoreline in Abel Tasman National Park. The trail is well marked and in good shape with maps at the start and signage along the way that gives an indication of hiking times. Great views of Fisherman and Adele Island as you hug the coastline and head into the park.
You follow the same path in and out so the hike can easily be extended or shortened to meet your needs. This is one of the most popular hikes in New Zealand with a variety of hikers using the trail. There are several nice beaches and numerous streams to cross along the way. Parking is available at the start point along with a nice cafe and bathrooms.
A 'must see' if you are in the area.
