Rendan waterfall / آبشار رندان از روستای رندان

ایران شناسان معتقدند که این منطقه در گذشته روستا نبوده، بلکه یکی از مناطقی بوده که ساکنین شهرری و تهران رمه‌ها و گله‌های خود را برای چرا به آنجا می‌بردند و در واقع منظور رمه‌دان بوده که برای راحتی در تلفظ حرف «مـ» به حرف «نـ» تغییر پیدا کرده و امروز «رندان» گفته می شود.
نشانی روستای رندان:
در مسیر تهران – کن سولقان –کیلومتر۱۸ جاده امامزاده داوود تابلوی روستای رندان قرار دارد که تا خود روستا ۶ کیلومتر دیگر باقی مانده است.
روستای رندان به علت واقع شدن در ارتفاع ۲۰۰۰ متری، زمستان‌های سردی دارد و حدود ۱۲۰ روز سال یخبندان است، در واقع یک منطقه ییلاقی برای اهالی به شمار می‌رود. دره‌های اطراف این روستا مملو از گیاهان است که بسیاری از آن‌ها خاصیت دارویی دارد. مثلا گیاه والک (از جمله فواید این گیاه کاهش قند خون، ادرارآوری، بهبود تنگی نفس و قلیایی کردن خون است) که در فصل بهار به شکل بوته در منطقه کوهستانی رندان می‌روید.
برای رسیدن به «آبشار رندان» یا «آبشار دره حیدر» لازم است وسیله نقلیه را در ورودی روستا پارک کرده (معمولا از ورود خودرو به روستا جلوگیری می شود) و شروع به پیاده روی از بین کوچه‌های زیبا و باصفای روستای کرده سپس برای رسیدن به آبشار بایستی ۲ کیلومتر به سمت شرق روستا از میان باغ‌های انگور، گیلاس، آلبالو، هلو، گردو و بوته های خودروی سماق که به وفور وجود دارند عبور کرده در این حین از صدای باد لابه‌لای درختان انبوه، آواز پرندگان و صدای آب روان در رودخانه لذت ببرید. با کمتر از یک ساعت پیاده‌ روی به آبشار رندان (دومین ابشار به لحاظ ارتفاع بعد از ابشار سنگان) خواهید رسید.

To reach "Randan Waterfall" or "Dere Haider Waterfall", it is necessary to park the vehicle at the entrance of the village (cars are usually prevented from entering the village) and start walking through the beautiful and clean streets of the village, then to reach To reach the waterfall, you have to go 2 kilometers to the east of the village through the vineyards, cherries, cherries, peaches, walnuts and sumac bushes that are abundant, while passing through the sound of the wind in the thick trees, the singing of birds and the sound of running water.
