Itinerary description
(English text below)
We go up on the track until the acequia, here we follow the acequia upstream, aside the water on a narrow footpath. The environment is humid with many trees that give shade, and with views: beautiful! Be careful: the path is narrow on uneven soil with sometimes a steep downhill side. You have to return before you get to the bend to the left entering the Poqueira Valley: here the path is very narrow and at the side there is a very steep precipice: VERY DANGEROUS!
This is one of the 12 acequias fed by the Poqueira River. The acequias were built centuries ago by the moors to bring water from the Sierra Nevada to water the fields of La Alpujarra.
