Itinerary description
Parked in the small Pueblo of Acequias in Valle Lecrin. The walk first goes to a viewpoint outside Acequias where the entire valley is visible. After this this we exit Acequias passing by the old mill. The first part is a relatively easy ascend lasting for approx. an hour, where we on the left side can see Niguelas. When the goat track that we follow crosses a larger dirt track, we take a left starting the descend towards Niguelas. Before Niguelas, there is time to look at the water canals that have given name to Acequias. Following a small track with a fence takes us close to Niguelas to see the Niguelas Falla. After this, without entering Niguelas, we find a track back to Niguelas, that goes through some fields with some unbelievable fruit trees. After this, a small ascend leads us back to Niguelas.
