Itinerary description
The Carrasco trail from Adeje to Benitez is in little use, but is passable with some effort. The vegetation has taken over most of the trail, and there are some quite dangerous places as well. The lower part of the trail is more difficult to find, therefore it might be better idea to go it from top down. The old markings, however, remain visible almost all along the trail.
The trail upin the pine forest was also marked, but we decided to cut short return due to time constraints, therefore took some unmarked trail, following almost GPS.
I rate it difficult overall due to several combining factors: difficulties with orientation and passage of Carrasco trail, as well as general length of trail.
