Itinerary description
If you add in a boat ride on the river, you pretty much have an Old Dhaka greatest hits following this itinerary. My GPS ran out of battery just before arriving at the Star Mosque; the Iman invited me into the prayer room and showed me the beautiful decorations. He did not even ask for a donation, I was impressed.
To get into the Armenian Church you have to press the (white) doorbell inside the gate on the right. (After a long while in my case), the caretaker will show up and give you a friendly tour. A donation is obviously in its place (I was not requested to do so).
