Itinerary description
Beautiful hiking route to the plains surrounding the Tagamanent hill in the heart of the Montseny park. This is the reverse version of Wikiloc route 5620318 by user VU - many thanks for the upload!
The climb from Aiguafreda to the masia El Bellit via single trail is sometimes steep and provides impressive views over the valley. In the last part of the climb the trail disappears in the grasslands around an abandoned farmhouse. Use your GPS to follow the track and get onto the dirt road to El Bellit.
Passed El Bellit, you come to a crossroads where you can go down again to Aiguafreda in case you don't want to do the complete route. If you continue upwards, after passing the crossroads, be sure to not miss the entrance to the single trail at the right side of the road, leading into the woods. This trail finally connects with the dirt road again towards restaurant El Bellver and Tagamanent. You can choose to climb some extra meters to visit the (abandoned) Tagamanent monastry, or go right down and take the GR path down to Aiguafreda.
