Itinerary description
It is an easy and well laid trail in Fujairah without bouldering and loose rocks. A provided GPS trek is absolutely enough to follow the trail. You will find a variety of rocks with different structure and colors and there is a giant rock in the middle of the trail with multiple petroglyphs.
The road to the area is just beautiful. You will drive towards Jebel Yibir (Jebel Al Mebrah). You should drive carefully as the road has broken edges at some locations and there are many sharp turns.
P-1 - P-10. It is the main ascent. You will start the trail after a big "Ain Alsheria" sign and will reach stone pyramids at the top after a short but rapid incline.
P-10 - P-17 mainly leveled walk with an amazing maintain range view. P-13 is an important point. When you reach it take left, do not descent to the wadi! At P-17 you will find a big rock with petroglyphs
P-17 - P-21. Descent
P-17 - P-25. In this part of the trail you will walk on a dirt road passing several farms.
P-25 - P-29. Small ascent and finish. When you reach trees at P-25, take right and you will easily find the trail. I saw a car park there. Probably some hikers use this point as a start.
Parking coordinates - 25.608967, 56.150391. Some people say that you can come with sedan there, but I did not see any sedan in the area, only SUV/4x4 cars. I used Waze app and after 25.611254, 56.145410 it did not know how to get there, but google maps work. When you park your car, walk about 100 m along farms and you will see the start of the trail.
Must-have gear:
1) Hiking shoes
2) 3 liters of water
3) Sun protective clothing and sunscreen since after the peak at P-10 the trail does not have any shade

Thank you for sharing this beautiful trail. Just that there was no mobile network from the highway to the Trailhead. I would recommend saving the trail and map in advance.

well marked map..!
As of January 7th, 2023, there were numerous construction works underway on the road that leads to the trailhead. I also advised hikers to bring 4x4 vehicles for easier driving.
Hi any idea if this os pet friendly hike? Many thanks in advance
Hi Sharon, I would say yes if you are going there with a big dog. The hike was easy, no scrambling, no boulder hopping. But I have never hiked with any pet. So do not know what they can do
Wonderful! We only have a small dog and always keep him on a leash. Thank you for your reply and we look forward to doing this hike before the summer heat kicks in
