EXTREME TRAIL

EXPERTS ONLY

Lebanon's Beautiful 3 Cedars Nature Reserve in one place.

From Ain Zhalta heights you can get an amazing scenic views at the whole Beqaa Valley

Steep descent from Maaser El Chouf Forest to the village.

A must visit for Nature lovers, this trail can be divided to many sections according to your hiking level.

Continuing to Niha fortress was decided on the spot leading to an extreme trail.

Be very careful that the part btw Maaser El Chouf village and Mresti village, after passing through agricultural lands and ascending through the pools, at Top of forest where Mresti will be seen downward, on your left side you will descend shortly then ascend..here after short distance there are aggressive dogs belonging to the houses and lands nearby, they are free and owners are not there, be cautious of being attacked specially if solo hiking.

From Mresti the path is clear but long all the way to Niha Fortress, I reached at late hour and had set my tent at end of the village below it..

This is the second day of the 3 day trekking trail that started from Mtein village.
