According to mendikat.net, there are almost 250 mountains of 1,000 meters or more in Alava. This is Rodil, 1029 meters high
Description of the mountain (extracted from www.mendikat.net):

This summit together with Raso (1054 m) and Risca (1007 m) would form the "three Rs", being able to make a crossing of the summits in one day, with the possibility of even adding Peñalisa (966 m) to the list
According to the RAE (Royal Spanish Academy), Rodil is a "meadow located between farmland", but in this case we have an elevation whose general shape, moreover, is rounded. Therefore, it cannot be excluded that it is related to this last circumstance, and that it comes from the Latin word "rotellam" (knee)
My ascent
Very interesting and attractive ascent, leaving from Mioma village
This is a very green route because it goes through evergreen forest. There are conifers and beeches but mostly the route is through green forest. It is easy to follow because the path is very well marked. Almost all are wide forest tracks and comfortable dirt. Be careful with the passage of some barbed wire fences
There are two ways to make the summit. I have called them Option A and Option B. I went up "A" and down "B". Option A is much steeper than Option B but it is nice and demanding. It is about 200 meters of 30% slope. You have to climb without losing sight of the wire fence on the left. Option B, on the other hand, is an easy climb along the main path. Depending on your mood and energy, choose one or the other
The summit has a small mountain mailbox and a nice panoramic view
The final part of the route is by road, about 1000 meters
