Itinerary description
Combination of winter hiking trails and sky lifts to taste Aletsch Arena in just a few hours.
Impressive views of the Great Aletsch Glacier, from Eggishorn, Bettmerhorn, Moosfluh and Hohfluh (the first two only accesible by skylift but the two latter also accesible walking).
I suggest you to buy, at your arrival in Fiesch, an View Point Explorer ticket (CHF 49) that offers you open access to all cableways that take 'foot' passengers, including valley connection cable cars from Mörel, Betten and Fiesch (you'll need them to get to the starting points of winter trails) and also to those which give access to the peaks (Eggishorn cableway -we used both bounds-, Bettmerhorn cable car -also both bounds-, Moosfluh cable car -we didn`t use it- and Hohfluh chairlift -we used it just to go down as we were in a hurry but we could have used the Gratweg trail to Rideralp via Riederfurka-). It also gives you access to Wurzenbord chairlift (ascent only) and to MGB railway in the Mörel–Betten–Fiesch–Fürgangen section.
