Itinerary description
The beginning of this walk is fairly easy up a track, which has got large ruts in it from the floods in December 2016 but is easily walked. The last part down the Fossil Valley can be a little difficult, especially in one part where you have to use a rope to climb down a steep bank to access the river.
We did this walk in February 2017 and we definitely needed waterproof walking boots as in parts it was running quite deeply.
