Itinerary description
We went by car one sunny morning in February 2015. We left the village of Alfarnatejo walking towards the Villa Alta complex. First of all we saw the Old Bridge, and we followed a country road through a beautiful landscape which pass between the two mountains The Chamizio and the Hights of the Monk. The road deteriorates but is perfectly passable on foot. All along the route we had sight of La Maroma capped with snow. We saw old farm complexes, an ancient trashing area, the source of the river Borbollon, many almond trees in flower, a waterfall, and in an olive grove, a farmer gathering his crop of olives, beating the olive tree in the same was a it has been done in past centuries. This is a route of many points of interest, and on a beautiful day. We did the route with the guide, Miguel Angel Robles, of Medusa ADN.
